HOW IT STARTED
Since Adam and I got married in 2016, I've been decorating our space, trying to make it homey and at the same time exploring my style, discovering what I like.
When we moved into our first house it was quite the challenge as it was the largest space we had lived in and I was trying to figure out ways to style it and not to mention, fill it.
We would host frequently and I remember our friends remarking how each time they came over the entire living room would be rearranged. This continued on with time and only got more serious as I started sourcing furniture from local thrift stores, antique malls, and consignment stores. I would buy second-hand to fill my home and keep the items until I found something better. I would resell anything I didn't want online and started to realize profits I wasn't trying to make.
Adam saw potential in what I was doing and encouraged me to get serious about sourcing and sharing parts of our home. I wasn't doing any of this other than I wanted to learn and discover creative ways to design. With each transformation of my space I got better and better.
I started having friends notice my love for design and quickly became their go-to design consultant. This was more opportunity to grow and learn.
This expanded into my first project-- furnishing and styling a rental property for some dear friends of ours. I'm still so thankful for the opportunity and trust they had in me. I poured my heart and soul into designing that property. I utilized every square inch of space to its fullest and I'm happy to say, we were all pleased with the outcome.
This has led to multiple clients, spanning residential and commercial projects that I only dreamed of being apart of one day.
My design journey is only just beginning and I'm so thankful for all my friends, family, and clients who have trusted me to help them design their most intimate spaces.. their homes and businesses.
